  • Qualifying and expanding Zero Trust Branch hardware SKUs
  • Design and optimize system infrastructure to support high-performance networking and security applications, leveraging expertise in system engineering principles.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals, disk partitioning, file systems, and kernel networking features to evaluate and enhance platform performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain high-speed data paths, including kernel-space and user-space implementations such as VPP, to enable efficient data transmission.
  • Utilize proficiency in C programming to contribute to Linux kernel development, employing tools like Git, Make, and other industry-standard utilities.


What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Experience in qualifying hardware for high-performance data path
  • Experience in system engineering, with a focus on designing and optimizing system infrastructure for high-performance networking and Security applications
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals, disk partitioning, file systems kernel networking features and their impact on platform performance and reliability
  • Experience with high-speed data paths, including kernel data path and user space data path like VPP
  • 10+ years of software development/testing experience


What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, etc.)


Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$175,000 - $250,000 USD
