Marketing Managing Director, Film & Media Partnerships ID-11396

As the Marketing Managing Director for Film & Media Partnerships on our Marketing and Communications (MarComms) team, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Film and Media Partnerships marketing capability, launch and oversee strategies and campaigns that advance top organizational priorities, and lead a small team of marketers responsible for the development and execution of related marketing efforts. This role requires a visionary leader who will help us build the capability to craft and implement marketing campaigns that drive measurable and durable social change in alignment with our core principles. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and passion for applying marketing fundamentals to drive societal transformation through the power of culture, utilizing mediums such as film, media, literature, and the arts to inspire and influence audiences.

How You Will Contribute

  • Operate as strategic lead for Stand Together’s Film & Partnership marketing capability, collaborating with internal partners to drive alignment on core value propositions for key priorities and issue portfolios.
  • Build and launch integrated MarComms strategies that promote Stand Together’s top Film and Media Partnerships opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external MarComms capabilities to develop and execute actionable and measurable plans/experiments that are optimally resourced to maximize impact.
  • Build, lead (directly or indirectly), and develop marketing professionals responsible for implementing campaigns and projects.
  • Work with Stand Together Channel Marketing functions to execute marketing campaigns,
  • Guide and manage operational infrastructure that facilitates efficient communications, processes, and workflows.
  • Identify and develop tools and frameworks that build upon key insights and fast-track learning opportunities.
  • Provide actionable analysis of competitive landscape, emerging market trends, and audience behaviors that guides strategic planning and iteration.
  • Oversee budget and compliance measures related to social impact marketing initiatives.
  • Hire and manage external partners/vendors where appropriate.

What You Will Bring

  • 12+ years of professional experience in marketing strategy or related fields such as film, media, music, sports, or entertainment with proven track record of leading teams and driving transformational results at scale.
  • Deep knowledge of the film, TV, entertainment, sports or related media industries, including strong understanding of standards and best practices.
  • Experience engaging and influencing wide range of stakeholders within complex and matrixed organizational structures.
  • Proven success translating high-level objectives into actionable integrated MarComms plans with measurable goals and KPIs.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business priorities that ladder to shared vision.
  • Core understanding of today’s social issues/landscape and a passion for driving change in alignment with ST’s vision and principles.
  • Experience with agency relations (as a client or agency representative).
  • Experience using analytical skills to evaluate effectiveness of marketing efforts and drive improvements based on learnings.
  • Experience in managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
