Robinson & Co arranges financing for businesses internationally, focusing on deals from $20 million to multi-billion, industry-agnostic.. Our team is adept at structuring diverse financing solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. Our core business model is brokering and negotiating debt structures, with equity in specific situations.

Robinson and Co. is a growing investment bank expanding with the onboarding of multiple (“VPs”) for the 2025 year. We are seeking individuals who possess the desire to work remotely, using tools and support provided by Robinson and Co., and embody our core values of aggression, industriousness, speed, ownership and open-mindedness. We seek those that have done it and are successful. Outside of commissions earned from deal-making, discretionary annual bonuses will be paid out to everyone in the firm based on performance.

 

Responsibilities: (this is a 100% commission-based role) Compensated from all client fees, including our up-front engagement fee, and success fees.

● Deal Management and Execution:

○ Originate, vet, and execute deals.

○ Work with M.D. to identify, engage, and negotiate with capital sources, ensuring the successful execution of deals.

○ Expand and cultivate relationships with family offices, PE firms, hedge funds, insurance companies, and family office advisors, as time and opportunities are afforded.

● Fee and Structure Oversight:

○ Understand and apply the minimum fee structure (“Fee Rate”), including: ■ Charging a 2-point fee with a retainer for real estate deals.

■ Offering a retainer plus a 10% fee, or no retainer with a 15% fee for

corporate/business debt deals.

■ Administering a JV equity model for equity deals, charging a 10% equity stake in the Client alongside a 10% fee on the raised amount. (These fee rates are goals, however, not required)

○ Understand and apply fee models, ensuring each opportunity is viable and profitable.

● Reporting and Communication:

○ Provide the Managing Director with regular updates, evolving market trends, and the progress of strategic initiatives.

○ Keeping an updated listing of deals in the company shared document of current or potential opportunities.

 

● Compensation: (this is a 100% commission-based role) We collect an up-front engagement fee from new clients (ranges from $25k-100k), in addition to any success fees due us for a successful capital raise.

○ Compensation cap set at 50% of the negotiated Fee Rate, excluding real estate debt, yielding compensation of 40%, net of fees, earned from managed deals.

○ Earn the 40% commission as set above, on any deals personally originated, recognizing the integral role, network, and expertise they bring. Revenue from these personal deals will remain separate from the team financing benchmark.

○ If the VP so elects, after the closing of the first deal compensation will be changed as follows:

■ The VP will earn a salary of $125,000 per year

■ Commission earned on all subsequent deals, excluding real estate debt, will be fixed at 2%, net of fees, earned from managed deals.

 

Qualifications:

● Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services.

● Strong leadership and management skills.

● Understanding of banking, financial markets, and deal structuring.

● Having a foundational network of professionals for deal origination is a plus.

● Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
