We are looking to hire a Senior Manager of Campaign Insights to lead eBay’s campaign insights team! Building our brand is core to eBay’s purpose and this role sits right in the heart of it all. This role will report to the Director of Consumer Insights, Marketing & Financial Services.

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead a global team of Insights practitioners, with a dedicated focus on coaching and development.

  • Oversee all campaign development research and campaign measurement across various targets and categories.

  • Partner closely with Brand teams across markets to provide thought partnership and consumer-centric recommendations, continuing to push towards winning creative that connects with consumers.

  • Synthesize and continuously issue standard processes and marketing optimization areas to further continuous improvemattitudedset.

  • Present campaign learning, data, recommendations in Senior Leadership forums, always showing up as the consumer in the room.

  • Oversee brand health tracking across markets; workshop findings and recommendations with Marketing and Product teams to continue building the eBay equity.

  • Lead comms feedback workstream, codifying processes and ways of working with partners.

  • Work closely with the GCI Leadership Team on specific initiatives and presentations.

  • Build strong relationships and influence throughout the Growth organization.

What you will bring:

  • 12+ years of related work experience in a Consumer Insights role, with a passion for brand-building and building consumer-obsessed organizations.

  • 8+ years leading campaign development research and measurement is required, including Extensive experience managing global Qual and quant studies.

  • 5+ years in people development. Someone who loves developing and coaching others to help them realize their full potential.

  • Positive can-do, flexible attitude, understanding that the role is fast paced with tight timelines, ready to jump in and implement research alongside the team in a hurry, and resilient and adaptable in the face of changing plans or timelines.

  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to form strong cross-functional relationships at all levels, gain alignment from partners and manage healthy conflict.

  • Excellent communicator, with experience presenting to Senior level business partners.

  • Curious approach with a passion for uncovering the “why”, and a deep understanding of and empathy for the consumer.

  • Experience in connecting the dots from disparate data to bring clear, insightful syntheses that drive business growth.

  • Expertise in working efficiently and effectively in a highly matrixed Global organization.

  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Market Research, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or related field. Advanced Degree or equivalent experience highly desirable. Bonus points if you love advertising!
