Your ability to forge close working relationships with our Product, Engineering, and User Experience teams will be integral to your success in this role. This is a remote position located in the United States. We will only consider candidates currently in the US and are not offering relocation assistance at this time. Travel may be required periodically for key meetings. About the role : - Develop and use a deep working knowledge of product lines and feature sets to facilitate creative legal solutions tailored to business objectives - Partner with Legal colleagues and internal clients to drive innovation and provide practical legal advice to manage risk and facilitate compliance with applicable laws and regulations - Analyze and advise on customer experience, product marketing, data, and technology issues - Implement and refine internal legal processes and manage outside counsel - Assist in the execution of strategic partnerships and inbound technology agreements About you : - At least 5+ years of combined law firm and/or in-house legal experience - JD degree from an ABA accredited law school is required - Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (State or D.C.) - Experience counseling software product teams through entire development lifecycle - Familiar with and able to stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and trends relevant to technology, artificial intelligence, marketing, brand protection, and consumer protection - Technical background or direct experience in the consumer software and/or cybersecurity fields is preferred - Experience in intellectual property, technology transactions, marketing, brand protection, and/or advertising law is preferred - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven to seek out and implement improvements in the delivery of top-notch legal services - Operate independently and have strong teaming skills - Possess strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives - Excellent writer and verbal communicator with ability to form strong relationships at multiple levels _Company Overview_ McAfee is a leader in personal security for consumers.
