Event Coordinator ID-5852

Amentum is seeking a seasoned Event Coordinator with experience in planning and organizing conferences, trade shows, seminars, festivals, exhibits, meetings, conventions, and other events, in support of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Operations Directorate and Science and Technology (S&T) and Operations Division at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

Specific duties include:



Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years related experience in event coordination in lieu of degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in supporting government-sponsored events and coordinating meetings of varying sizes
  • Ability to prepare and manage event-related budgets effectively
  • Experience working with foreign governments and coordinating with vendors to ensure smooth operations and service delivery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with senior leadership in fast paced environments
  • Must possess a SECRET security clearance. Note: U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a DoD security clearance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Possesses a Top-Secret clearance
  • 5 years' experience working in the USINDOPACOM AOR
  • 5 years' experience planning and executing large scale DoD events overseas
  • Current Project Management Professional Certification



The salary range for this position is $110K to $155K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
