Solutions Architect/ Software Architecture Lead (Digital Media, NFL Fan Experiences) Id-2749

The NFL is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in driving the success of our NFL Fan digital experience projects, by designing and implementing scalable, high-quality solutions to support our diverse array of digital properties: NFL Mobile, NFL.com, CTV apps, NFL Fantasy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, infrastructure, operations, and design, to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

This role is onsite at our flagship offices located on the SoFi Stadium Campus in Inglewood, Ca. We offer a favorable benefit package including annualized bonuses, pension program, generous time off policy, and competitive on-going professional education allowances.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and objectives.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that meet our organizational needs and align with industry best practices.
  • Create architectural diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications for user experiences across our digital properties.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering, product management, infrastructure, operations, and design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools to ensure that our solutions remain innovative and competitive.
  • Lead and participate in technical discussions, presentations, and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure that solutions are implemented according to specifications and standards.
  • Help with troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues as they arise.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of CDNs, databases, and general infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, CI/CD build processes, testing, and operations.
  • 3+ years working as a solutions architect.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with video delivery solutions.
  • Experience with AWS services and technologies.
  • Proficiency in various programming languages (e.g. Typescript/Javascript, Java, Scala, PHP)
  • Experience working at software or media companies.

Salary / Pay Range

Salary

$115,000—$140,000 USD
