Senior Analyst - Human Resources (Generalist) Id-1204

One of our highly reputable Hedge Fund clients currently seeking to add a Senior Analyst to add to their growing Talent/HR Team. Ideal candidate will provide generalist HR support to our New York team including but not limited to people management, benefits and compensation, DEI, Learning and Development policy interpretation, HR communications, and additional special projects. This individual will interact with all levels of Management in our New York office, other North America HR teams, and the Regional and Global HR teams.

Essential Functions: (Includes but not limited to):

background checks to orientation, including preparation of new hire

packages and documents in preparation for on-boarding process.

  • Responsible for involved in all aspects of the HR function within Talent Management
  • Address confidential HR data with discretion, adhering to all privacy regulations and company policies
  • Use in-house HRIS system to automate regular HR reports to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist Head of Talent with employee relations.
  • Communicate news and vital information to staff.
  • Assist in benefit administration, including communication, enrollment, and status changes.
  • Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with exceptional attention
  • to detail and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance and proper maintenance of personnel records and files.
  • Manage new employee onboarding process including background checks, orientation, benefits enrollment, and employee engagement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 4+ years related human resources professional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and applicable federal and state laws.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to listen effectively.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Workday, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
