We have two little boys. Kade is 3 (just started Pre-K) & Aiden is 5 (just started Kindergarten).We are looking for help a few evenings a week to pick the boys up from school and help with their evening routine, as well as some Saturdays. However, we also travel a few times a month and during those times would need to adjust schedules to make sure we have around the clock care for our boys. We would need someone that can pick the boys up from school, stay the night with them & get them dropped off for school in the morning.We are looking for someone with experience caring for children & prefer previous nanny experience.Interested candidates will support us as parents so we are able to run our business and also maintain the rules & expectations we have for our kiddos.Children thrive off of love, but also the structure of clearly knowing what is and is not allowed. We want our boys to continue to develop into well rounded, kind members of society.Duties: - Pick up both boys from school - Prepare meals for the boys - Reminders to use the bathroom to maintain toilet training - Bath time - Maintain a well rounded routine of independent play, interactive play, story time, learning activities, developing fine & gross motor skills and physical exercise. - Help keep the boys' play areas picked up, the kitchen clean after snacks/meals and helping with the boys' laundry - Maintain behavioral expectations by communicating clearly with both boys about those expectations and following through with appropriate consequences for their actions. (i.e. time outs, toys put in time out, losing privileges/treats) - Clearly communicate updates on the boys' day, as well as communicate during the day any important changes, issues of concern or questions - Put the boys to bed at nightAdditional Duties While We Travel: - Drop off & pick up both boys from school - Spend the night to be available for overnight care - Naps for Kade & rest time for Aiden on no school days
