Essential Functions: the basic job duties and employee must be able to perform

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
  • Knowledge of, and ability to safely use, materials, supplies, chemicals, and machinery used in facility maintenance.
  • Ability to take direction.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate positively and effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Establish effective working relationships; both internally and with external partners and customers.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade (high school diploma or GED).
Education and Experience Equivalency: One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience with special event support
  • One year of experience with janitorial/facility management, including building operations, minor facility maintenance, facility cleaning/custodial support or related fields

 

Additional Information

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand, stoop, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
