Overview:

The Ambulatory Operations and Informatics Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of standard workflows, usability assessments, and optimization recommendations. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including operational leadership, end users, Revenue Cycle, and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operational leadership, end users of the EHR, Revenue Cycle, and IT to develop and drive adoption of standard workflows
  • Assess usability and recommend optimizations for electronic health records and other systems
  • Provide on-site rounding, assessment, and execution of opportunities for efficiency in ambulatory care settings
  • Implement user-level system personalization and communicate plans developed by project teams
  • Ensure understanding and adoption across all departments and establish relationships with ambulatory department and division leadership, physicians, and allied health staff
  • Research and advise leadership on best practices utilizing benchmarking resources

Requirements:

  • High school graduation
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Less than one year of experience in informatics or as a super user
  • Epic proficiency/certification within six months of employment
  • Good communication, writing, organizational, and presentation skills

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with frequent interactions with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, administrative staff, clinical personnel, and peers. The successful candidate should be able to receive and communicate effectively with verbal communications from users, vendors, and other employees in English.
