General Definition of Work The purpose of this position is to conduct administrative tasks as assigned by the Pender County Health Director and/or Environmental Health Supervisor. The primary tasks will be to preparation of files for scanning, organizing and boxing files as instructed. Other assignments will include copying and communication with leadership regarding the scanning project.

Routine work schedule is Monday through Friday, 30-hour work week. This is a temporary position that cannot exceed 999 hours in a calendar year. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

Remove files from individual folders and prepare for scanning. Copy necessaiy paperwork in the individual file folder Remove all clips, staples etc. Box files to be sent for program scanning Report any issues or concerns to leadership Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education & Experience Understanding of basic office processes. Ability to adapt to change. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Graduation from high school or possess a GED NC Driver's License Physical Requirements This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work frequently sitting, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel and repetitive motions and occasionally requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms and pushing or pulling; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities; work has no exposure to environmental conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
