  • Operate and maintain HVAC systems and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for system operation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all operations.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly.
  • Document maintenance activities and report on system performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Stationary Engineer or similar role with a focus on HVAC/R systems.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics and industrial mechanics.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining complex mechanical systems.
  • Four years of experience performing duties which included the operation, maintenance and repair of boiler, heating, refrigeration, ventilation, and power equipment of large commercial, industrial, or institutional buildings including the operation and maintenance of air conditioning systems involving the use of automatic controls and completion of A Recognized Apprenticeship for Stationary Engineers.
