Security Systems Technician Supervisor (Program Specialist 5) ID-7441

In this position, you'll be working at the historic Washington State Capitol Campus, supporting the security and safety of more than 7,500 employees and hundreds of thousands of visiting public.  If you would enjoy public service, collaborating with law enforcement and security partners, and working with robust physical security systems, this position may just be the one for you!

What you'll be doing
The DES Capitol Security Office provides security operations, security infrastructure, physical security systems, investigative support, security risk assessments, facility security design, and delivery of security training and exercises for the Capitol Campus.

Tasks to include providing robust physical security infrastructure and technology services (i.e., video surveillance, access control, duress, crisis communication, intrusion detection).

This position leads a team of Capitol Security System Technicians supporting electronic access control, physical access control, duress systems, video surveillance cameras and our video management platform, performing installations, configuration, maintenance and repair.  When not performing supervisory functions, this position will directly perform installations, configurations, maintenance and repair.  This position also provides investigation and security operations support to the Capitol Security program and Law Enforcement entities.
