About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Designer to join our ChatGPT for Work team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft AI-powered experiences that redefine how knowledge workers interact with their tools and workflows. As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI for enterprise use, designing solutions that are intuitive, elegant, and tailored to the unique needs of businesses.

This role can be based in one of our San Francisco, Seattle, or NYC offices. We offer relocation assistance to new employees.

What you’ll do in this role

  • Lead the design of end-to-end product experiences, from initial concept through polished execution, for web and mobile platforms.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate business objectives into user-centered designs.

  • Shape and refine the design system to ensure a cohesive and scalable visual language across the product suite.

  • Conduct user research to uncover pain points and opportunities, leveraging insights to inform design decisions.

  • Develop prototypes to explore and validate new features, workflows, and interactions.

  • Contribute to the strategy and execution of features aimed at increasing daily engagement, such as onboarding, collaboration, and personalization experiences.

  • Design for enterprise requirements, ensuring compliance, governance, and security features align with user needs.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience designing products for web and mobile, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI expertise and interaction design.

  • Ability to tackle complex workflows and transform them into simple, intuitive experiences.

  • Deep understanding of design systems and a strong sense of visual and interaction design craft.

  • Experience designing for enterprise users or within productivity software is a plus.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools or interest in shaping how businesses interact with AI-first products.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders.

  • Thrives in ambiguous environments, able to identify and define problems with minimal guidance.
