Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field team and leaders who use them. As the Platform Operations Manager - Push Communication, you will manage and enhance the efficiency of store communication platforms. Your role will center on driving engagement and ensuring effective communication delivery to stores by optimizing tools, systems, and workflows. Acting as a strategic partner, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, Product teams, and vendors, leveraging data and insights to advocate for business and user needs.

  • Establish and document standard operating procedures and best practices for platform-related activities.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations while supporting communication initiatives.

  • Partner with product and vendor teams to implement updates, troubleshoot issues, and enhance platform functionality.

  • Develop and deliver training for internal teams and stakeholders on platform functionality and best practices.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in push communication systems.

  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements or new tools.

  • Collect and analyze feedback; leveraging insights to help product teams prioritize changes.

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of platform management, product ops, and/or equivalent domain experience

  • Ability to self-organize and lead through ambiguity

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in easy-to-understand terminology across Operations, Product, and Technology

  • Ability to influence peers and partners to find common ground, push for consistency where possible, facilitate conversations, and navigate competing interests

  • Curiosity and passion for problem solving

  • Experience creating and delivering product tools & stakeholder materials

 

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
