The position will provide administrative support work for the Human Services’ Affordable Housing Team. The person in this position is responsible for specialized administrative and program support functions for the Pierce County Community Development Corporation (PCCDC) loan programs. This includes loan payment collections, deposit reconciliations, loan servicing, loan setups, loan disbursements, providing client account information, escrow payments, and general support of program staff and the PCCDC Board.

Throughout the onboarding process, you will meet with the Supervisor and program staff to regularly discuss expectations, set goals, identify priorities, and gain familiarity with current policies, procedures, and strategic measures. Continued employment is contingent upon job performance/evaluation, continued funding of the program, and other appropriate County procedures.

 

Core Daily Responsibilities:

  • Provide loan servicing support, including maintaining late payment reports, monitoring deposits, ensuring borrowers are current on property taxes and homeowners insurance, monitoring delinquent accounts, providing loan payoff’s, and other functions related to the PCCDC loan programs.  
  • Coordinate related office functions; assist in procedure development; perform duties of a highly confidential nature; may conduct research activities.
  • Manage and maintain the loan software (CDM). Ensure all loan accounts are reconciled and accurate. This may include keeping logs, charts, spreadsheets, related data, and files related to the division.
  • Receive and process forms and applications.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of loan program compliance.
  • Coordinate purchasing functions, such as preparing purchase orders and managing inventory.
  • Take dictation and meeting minutes and transcribe dictated material.

Qualifications

 

  • Two or more years of progressively responsible clerical experience or administrative program support work.
  • Additional education and experience may substitute for the required experience to a maximum of one year.
  • A valid Washington State driver’s license may be required when travel is required for the position.
