This role will support a regional territory of Louisiana and Mississippi. Please note applicants should live in Louisiana to be considered for the position.

What youll be doing :

  • You will work with your Sales Manager to develop Facility Supplies (Janitorial/Sanitation) sales strategies for your assigned territory and client base
  • Responding to prioritized support requests the Key Account Executive will receive high-priority account manager requests from the Regional Sales Director and must coordinate response and required visits
  • Visiting customers to help Account Managers close Facility deals by bringing expertise and knowledge of Staples' offerings to expert buyers
  • Participate in current account business reviews to introduce Facility Supplies and increase revenue while adding value to the account
  • Provide expertise and input to the corporate-wide Facility Supplies program regarding product selection, training, and issue resolution
  • Achieve Jan/San break room safety products revenue and gross margin targets in defined market/account base
  • Achieve retention and penetration of Jan/San break room safety products targets in existing accounts and new Facility accounts
  • Conduct joint sales calls with sales reps to assist them in closing the sale

Qualifications:

Whats needed- Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of outside business to business sales experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • Thorough knowledge of Jan/San products and services
  • Previous success in new business development
  • Ability to travel throughout the 2 state region on regular basis
  • Training and/or demonstration experience, both internal and with end-users
