Excelraise, LLC is seeking an Esri’s ArcGIS Online Administrator (Remote Job) for our client in Raleigh, NC.

***This is a 100% remote position. The candidate will need to use his/her own equipment or travel to NC to collect the equipment on the first day***

This position supports the GIS Unit’s geospatial web services development and maintenance, Esri ArcGIS Online enterprise product, and geospatial and mobile data collection efforts through a wide variety of activities and responsibilities including product development and maintenance, customer support, tool development and maintenance, project team work, small task management, new technology research and development, and applying technical knowledge and experience to Unit level problem solving. Candidate must be available to work M-F from 8AM-5PM Eastern Time. Candidates in different time zones must receive pre-approval from staff prior to start date to work based on location.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Has advanced knowledge of and experience with creating and publishing services to Esri ArcGIS Server, including backend configuration.
  • Has advanced knowledge of and experience with Esri’s ArcGIS Online product and capabilities, including the map viewer, templates, story maps, Surveu123, web application builder, and experience builder.
  • Has an advanced understanding of Esri’s product suite, including desktop, server, and web products.
  • Has a working knowledge of general GIS concepts related to data, analysis, cartography, and editing.
  • Has an applied knowledge of product development, including requirements, design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Has demonstrated experience with simple ArcPy, Python scripting, and Esri ArcGIS model builder.
  • Can locate and/or team with appropriate resources in the GIS Unit and NCDOT to provide quality customer solutions.
