Job Description

The Director, Information Technology will provide overall strategic direction in the creation, implementation, and delivery of innovative IT services for PlayStation Studios. This role involves directing a team of support specialists and senior Systems Engineers, delivering tailored IT solutions for the development of award-winning titles. The Director will work in collaboration with other IT teams within SIE and Sony to ensure successful delivery of IT services aligned with studio needs. This position emphasizes customer service and building strong relationships with internal business teams, promoting trust and advocating for customer needs. The Director is accountable for establishing and cultivating these relationships, developing strategic plans, managing IT-related activities, ensuring business continuity, and collaborating with central SIE IT teams to develop Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements. Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise IT leadership
  • Experience working with outsourced providers
  • Strong business sense and judgment
Good to have:
  • Prior experience leading IT teams in game studios
  • Knowledge of ITIL Process Framework principles
