Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

  • Creating technical design and unit test case documents to track test cases and issues utilizing Python;
  • Designing and developing applications using Python, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Anaconda to meet functional needs for software applications;
  • Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development utilizing Python and MS Excel; and
  • Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing Jira.
